So I figure I can give this a try. I’ll make an effort not to post about the fact that I had a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch, but it may happen from time to time.
WordPress is free (note: wordpress is not moveable type, which is non-free. There is even free ad supported hosting at wordpress.com). MySQL and PHP 4 seem to be the only requirements.
They speak of their “5 minute install”, and I must say that it’s not much longer than that, and certainly not complex. There does seem to be plenty of power in the admin interface.
